What Makes Iwata’s Brass-Tip Set Screws So Special?

Iwata produces socket head brass-tip set screws that are meant to be used together with its shaft collars. It is primary a set screw with a brass pad on the tip. To fasten, simply insert an Allen key and turn. The thread size follows international DIN / Metric  standards and are available for sizes M3 to M10.

The standout factor is undoubtedly the brass pad. Made with proprietary technology, the brass pads presses onto a shaft, creates fiction and yet not damaging it. Shafts that come into contact with the set screw will not move. The brass pad provides enough force to press onto shafts while protecting them from scratches.

Iwata Socket Head Set Screws are available in two materials: carbon steel (black oxide) and 303 stainless steel. Both materials will have a padding at the bottom made of brass. You can find screw sizes M4 to M10 for both materials, except for M3, which is available only in carbon steel.
